Zipporah Porath interviewed in Israel. Originally from New York, Zippy served as a Haganah medic and in the IAF Intelligence. She joined after initially arriving for a one-year program at the Hebrew University. Zippy went on to write “Letters From Jerusalem 1947-1948” which details the letters she wrote back home to her family.
